need help with info on older colnago seatpost

can someone help me with info on this seatpost

what era... what kind of bikes were they on? etc... size is 27.2 i thought it was period correct with my nago frame.. but doesnt seem to fit. (colnago master pista frame... seems to measure out just about 27.0 so this seatpost wont squeeze in.....thanks in advance....

looks like a 90's Chorus to my eye.
It would help if we could see a bit more of the adjustment bolt and
the entire set of rail clamps.
