So, I bought a new bike ................

It isn't a C&V bike.

But I supppose it is a "keeper of the flame" type of bike.

I think it is the sort of thing that the C&V folks might appreciate, though .....

I like it.

Nice!! Congratulations!

If you are interested in other vintage and current machines, go exploring for their headbadge logos:

More pictures of the whole frame would be good.

Nice choice of paint! I can't stand the Pegoretti loud paint schemes.
Very Nice!

*drooooool* Very pretty. There's a guy in my club with a blue / silver Pegoretti, beautiful bike. I see that the frame wears the orange color just as well.

Is the "Hand" on the headbadge supposed to interpret to "hand made?"

It is a real beauty!

Yes,

If my camera skills were better I could show you where it says on the badge " Fatti Con le Mani", Made with the Hands.

I know where about a half dozen really nice bikes can be had for a reasonable cost. If you ride a 55-56, you may want to PM waytoomanybikes.

His credit card bill is coming due

Sweet.

Sometimes I think of getting a super-nice modern steel frame because it will be with me the rest of my life. Pegorotti would be my very first choice.
