Vintage Merckx - De Rosa?
 

Hi all..it's been a while. I just bought a Merckx so I'll leave this one alone but it is very interesting. It looks to be pre-1981. Look at the lugs..they are longer (a la De Rosa) than the first imported Merckxs. Also the bb shell lacks the hole of the '81. When were the first non-imported factory Mercks made? If this is a '79-80 De Rosa build someone please grab it fast before I spend more money I don't have.
