Aha!

And so many poo-poo the zombie thread when much can be learned by resurrection...

Itís this thread. I remember when it happened.

The Urban Dictionary refused it when I first submitted it. Should be resubmitted with this thread as an example.

Now that's a cool bike.

It would be great for the pathways here in the TC.

I'm glad for drewing. I've picked up some three-legged dogs for cheap and repaired them for next to nothing.

It doesn't deserve it. Look at the track ends and the spray paint, then re-think what happened to this thing.

So my guess is someone (I guess it could be someone besides Drew) hacked up the frame and then the bike shop somehow ended up with it. I suppose Drew could have been a former owner and not necessarily the one who messed up the frame...

Sorry to disappoint. I wish I could tell you all that I met Drew and given a description of the infamous bike mutilator, but I cant.

I'm still mulling around the idea of whether I should fix the frame or not? Its funny because I was at my LBS a while back and one of the mechanics, who doesn't know about my Tommassini, used the term Drewed. Somehow the bike is the epicenter and poster-child of the dismembered bike movement. Perhaps Ill keep it just the way is is in homage to the term.

Yeah, it could become some sort of a shrine. Or not. 🤔😁

I'd just ride it.

Besides, this is just forum silliness anyway.

We used to get worked up about once a month on c&v about somebody hacksawing a part off a bike and actually riding it afterwards.

Maybe we could re-create one of those death chant threads about carbon fiber. Those were somewhat entertaining as well.

fwiw I already have a gorgeous Sintesi, so no need for any additional contemplation.

Why Drew, why?

Bought this off the local CL because I wanted the rack, bar cons and 27" Campy Record wheels for another bike.
The paint is beat, it's not my size and it's nothing special but it deserved a better fate than this.
Why did you do it Drew, why???
