brakes . never seen these before ?!
 
HI . some surfing around and i found these brakes . i have never seen these before

i am courious about what they are and if they are anything that was HOT !

While they do look a fair bit like the McMahon Brakes, I swear that's a star trek logo. I'd totally rock phaser brakes...

I lost that auction by about a dollar! If you want to sell these, I want 'em!

On the question: Looking at the photo of the McMahon brake and comparing this one reveals that they aren't of a related design (check out the cable entrance and the height of the arm pivots as well as the three piece construction of the Star Trek logo brakes). These are probably a proof of concept prototype that never made it to production and they're _very interesting. The most useful, telltale info might be had by examining photos of the internal mech and I'd love to, can't wait to, see.

HI dannyg1-
As i stated i was surfing . i couldnt remember where i saw them , it was ebay i think .
So i dont have them to inspect .
i really like them , the construction looks great they look and simple and well built . but one cannot very well tell without them being in the hand to inspect !

Hope to see another set of these one day !
