Nice. Parts from your Nishiki would bolt nicely to it. Then next month to the sweet little Cinelli Super Corsa you find. :)

VERY nice little frame! Worthy of love and attention.

Why are you sitting here at the computer and not heading to pick up your new puppy right now!?

Dang. Beauty of a color on that thing. Time to start hunting down some C-Record!

bmaxwell 11-24-08 09:02 AM

Ok now that I have slept and gotten a reply from the owner of the frame I am still loving it. WOW it is beautiful. I love the nishiki too soooo I may have to build up both of them that way I could really call my self a C&Ver

Daccordi's are, in my mind, one of the most underrated, unheralded stars of the Italian steel era. I took a flyer on my 1990 50th anniversary based on the looks alone and all I can say is I love it. It's just a beautiful frame in every sense of the word.

are you calling me fickle?:innocent:

Skylar 11-24-08 02:38 PM

He doesn't have to, I'm calling you fickle.

That said, I'd behave in a very similar manner given alike circumstances

I am afraid I am going to have to pass on the frame for now, if he still has it after the holidays then I will consider it more. I just can't see buying me a present and forgetting to get my kids something.:D I would have a mutiny on my hands.

I let the guy know that if he still has it after the holidays then I would probably do something with it.

I am sad that I have to not get it but that is the life of a salesperson, when the market is down then personal items get thrown to the back burner. In the mean time I will continue to love my nishiki.

Skylar 11-24-08 03:34 PM

and that, as they sometimes say, is a moral victory.

oh but I am ssssooooo tempted to have him hold it like he has offered to do. He said that it found me so he would be willing to hold it. I asked if he could hold it until after the holidays? I will see if he is willing to do that. So I may not have to pass on the frame, just delayed gratification.:(

Skylar 11-24-08 04:03 PM

If you can spare the loot and still make christmas work, tell him to hold it dude. That's rare in today's market.

bmaxwell 11-24-08 04:05 PM

I think I will call him today and see what we can work out.

due ruote 11-24-08 06:09 PM

Sounds like he wants you to have it. I bet a little earnest money would seal it.

Blue Order 11-24-08 06:14 PM

If yo're in love, that bike is the holidays... ;)

bmaxwell 11-24-08 06:29 PM

ya but this is not the time of year to be spending my myself. specially in this economy, perhaps I can ask as it for my christmas present.

Blue Order 11-24-08 06:35 PM

OK, let's see a show of hands...how many people here will be buying themselves a bike-related present this holiday season?
