Long shot...

I need a longer bottom bracket for my new Jeff Lyon L'Avecaise.

Trade my 116mm Phil titanium BB, British threaded, JIS taper, for a longer one (119-122mm will work) (must be Ti). The Phil is their top of the line one, with the Magnesium shell. It's in excellent shape.

I think there were three in the Box O' Crap when it left my house a couple weeks ago. Someone just snagged one:

If you're quick, you might be able to get in line before the other two are gone. :)

BluesDaddy 06-18-14 02:44 PM

Yeah, the BOC contains a tiny, very old counter. Looks like brass, with a small sprocket on the side. No idea how it's driven or mounted. It is about 1/3 the size of the plastic Huret counter above.

^ thanks for the heads up. BOC I seek :thumb:

I've got too many wheel sets sitting around…maybe we can trade one of them for something more useful (to me):

Have: Mavic Open 4 CD SUP rims (dark grey ano) laced with DT spokes to beautiful silver Campy Athena hubs…have been converted to run 9/10/11s, nice shape with good brake tracks, slight extra ano loss on front track from errant brake pad placement.

ISO:
-Decent 25mm tubulars
-Fizik Aliante saddles
-Specialized Romin Evo or Phenom saddles
-Speedplay Zero pedals
-Deda Zero 100 stems (110/120) and bars (42/44)
- or ???

TIA

Suntour Accushift XCT rear derailler, PM me if you have one to trade.

Have
Lots of odds and ends.

Have, Lots of rain and hot temperatures here in Cambodia, will wave my arms and swing a big fan to move some of it your way :).
Want, a couple of (3 or 4) front centerpull brakes complete with cable hanger, clamp, cross wire, brake set, nuts and bolt, pads. I don't need the cable, housing or levers.
These are for a couple of guys that ride lots over here in Cambodia who don't have much money and I would like to change out their front brakes to something that works a lot better than what they have. These will be sent to my daughter in Pennsylvania and she will get them to me cheap.
These need to be of a fairly long reach.

I recently acquired a Schwinn Crisscross (1991 I think). It must have been in a pile of junk because the front reflector bracket was bent back and had deeply scraped the head badge. The existing badge reads "Schwinn Quality", and has a date code of 14xx (the rest is not legible). The serial number on the bottom bracket reads GE018801/606730B4. Anyway, I'd like to replace the head badge with a similar one.

ISO: TA Specialties crank dust cap. One only.

No biggie and just thought by chance anyone might have a spare. With the exception of our tandem, I normally ride the other bikes without crank caps. Just noticed I'm missing one! Fleabay sellers have them for $50 but that's as crazy attempting a wheelie on a tandem!

clubman 06-23-14 12:28 PM

Looking for a Victor pedal cap...these were the poor cousin to the Suntour Bear trap pedal but still well made. I've tried other dust caps but no match. I have lots of stuff, brit and other. Spare parts, no problem

This is for my rebuild of the fugly C-dale.

TIA

ISO: Downtube Shifter Adaptor (ie. a clamp-on set of bosses to install a shifter to). Only *need* one boss, but two will work too. Something that is functionally like this: Amazon.com : Origin8 DownTube Shifter Adapter - 31.8/28.6mm, Black : Bike Shifters And Parts : Sports & Outdoors . Something shinier and classic would be cool -- this would be perfect if you have one: Vintage Huret Clip on Single Gear Lever Adapter | eBay . Standard Reynolds 531 downtube size..thats 28.6mm right?

I've decided my British Portuer is going to have its 1x7 setup replaced by the S3X wheelset I picked up on the cheap. I've got a bar-end shifter but would prefer to mount it on the downtube.

To trade: Lots of odds and ends...Derailleurs (Deore, LX), Cinelli stem/bar, etc etc etc.

Coreyk 06-25-14 08:56 PM

Lost my Dunelt/Phillips fork caps. Had to take them out when getting the fork steerer tube replaced.
Anyone got a set?

They look like these, and are usually chromed. Shot chrome is actually ok- I'll nickel them or strip 'em to copper...

I have a bunch of bits to trade. Anyone want an early Silca mountain bike pump with the silca presta head? Some pre-QBP Salsa Ti skewers?

ISO: Handlebars

I'm looking for a good condition VO Grand Cru Chris's Rando, Nitto Rando, or GB Randonneur in a 44 or 46cm. I have quite a lot of trade bait, a good bit of which is from the 70's and 80's.
