Also looking for 27.0 seatpost. A shorty is ok.

Would prefer to trade, but could cough up cash if necessary. PM me and we can see if we can help each other out
.

I think I have a crankset that will work for you. I'll check after work and PM you a few pictures.

Thanks. Hopefully something that would give a reasonable chain line if I used it with a single ring (which I should have mentioned :o).

WTB/ISO (for a relative, not me):
54cm Cinelli frame set, or equivalent in red. Complete bike OK.

I sold him a Cilo and he's ridden my Centurion/Cinelli Equipe.
Yeah, he's hooked.

Are you building up a single speed or fixed gear? I have both 170mm and 165mm cranks.

digitalbicycle 12-17-08 04:16 PM

Wanted:
Vintage 23" MTB, a la Schwinn High Sierra or Raleigh Crested Butte or Elkhorn. Something with that long, stretched-out early/mid 80s geometry.

The only thing I've got to trade is a nice set of Dura Ace 7402 cranks, 175mm. But I've got $$ too, so let me know if you've got something you're looking to get rid of.

Fixed.

RobbieTunes 12-17-08 05:22 PM

Have: 100mm Cinelli 1A in black, really good condition.
Forte Precision 25.4/42cm bar, not used (black)
Cannondale black 100mm stem for 1" threadless, 25.4/26/0 clamp
Decent but nowhere near new (stored) gumwall 700cx23 tires (for a flip, not the Tour).

Need: 70-80mm Cinelli 1A in silver.
One red 700c x 18-25 tire.

I'm looking for a 53-54 cm frame, brand unimportant. Prefer lugged, I'd like to have a derailleur hanger and British BB. I'd like a decent weight butted tubeset but nothing exotic as I'm going to add modern style braze-ons and get S&S couplers installed..I'm tired of paying airline fees for my bike case.

I have a variety of frames/bikes/parts around, can trade up or down, let's see:
Weinmann DP18 silver track wheelset, flipflop hub
Mid 70s (?) Peugeot frame, ~53 cm, low end w/o hanger
A nice late 90s Fuji 853 steel frame, ~60 cm, needs dropout replaced

If you have something fancy or a complete bike, I have this Raleigh fixed gear conversion, with new polished wheelset and track cranks.

Let me know what you have!

Business810 12-18-08 02:25 PM

Have:

Shimano FH-6500 32h rear hub
rear wheel - Shimano 105 8-speed hub laced to a Wolber rim
Shimano 105 8-speed STI brake/shifters
Tange black 1" threaded unicrown cromo 700c fork
NOS Araya Aero 2 polished, unmachined tubular rim, 32h
2 Super Champion Gentleman 700c rims, clincher, 36h
Shimano PD-M535 SPD clipless pedals, well-worn but functional
Selle Italia Flite with titanium rails - older style from the 90's, again well-worn but functional
1971 Triumph 3-speed - very heavy, so probably only of interest to any locals
a bunch of miscellaneous MTB stuff - frame, fork, wheels, etc.

Want:

Shimano Ultegra rear brake, BR-6500 or -6600
leather saddle, preferably honey/brown in color - Brooks, Ideale, etc.
gum hoods for Shimano non-aero brake levers
MKS GR-9 pedals

I probably have more "have's" to add when I get home that I cannot recall...

mazdaspeed 12-18-08 02:44 PM

I really need a b-screw for a mid-late 80's dura ace derailleur... other shimano ones might work, if anyone has an extra one let me know :)

azshtr 12-18-08 03:14 PM

Have: 85 cinelli 1A quill

Need Fenders for Schwinn Super Sport

gr23932 12-18-08 03:20 PM

ISO/WTB a Peugeot PX 10. Frame set or complete bike is ok. I have many bikes to trade and parts or money. Must be a 59cm or 60cm. PM.
I've been looking for one for a while.

metalchef87 12-18-08 06:56 PM

ISO/WTB 58 cm road bike from 70s-80s. Peugeot, Motobecane, Raleigh, Gitane, Nishiki, Schwinn, etc. Prefer lighter weight bike, around the 20-28lb weight class.

Have to trade 73 Schwinn Continental Kool Yellow, good condition overall, new(er) tires and bar tape. Recent tune up/overhaul. Also have 27x1 Araya Wheel set, 6 speed freewheel, bronze hubs and rims.

Also would be interested in buying off craigslist in another city if someone on here could help pick it up and ship it too me, I'd pay of course.

YoKev 12-19-08 05:17 AM

Anyone stateside have a good British touring frame in a 52/53 cm size they may consider parting with? Something that can accept wide tires and mud guards, as well as rack brazeons.

I'm seriously just testing the water to see what may be available :)

I've got my eye on a Leeds made 531c light touring frame across the pond, but the shipping is nearly as much as the bike...My Woodrup would have a new friend from the same neighborhood though

stausty 12-19-08 03:30 PM

I'm hoping to switch to cotterless cranks on my '74 Raleigh Grand Prix and am in need of an Italian (70 mm) bottom bracket spindle. I'll try to pull some cranks out of a bin at the local bike co-op, so overall spindle length isn't terribly important, but 110-115 mm would be wonderful.

Not much to offer in trade, but more than willing to pay postage if you have one of these lying around.

Rollfast 12-21-08 03:36 AM

Still looking for a Rollfast DeLuxe tank, not gold plated just usable and a tank that works for my late 60-so cantilevered Western Flyer, not the fancy B-6/Phantom chromed jobs but slablike sorta flat for the most part.

I LOVE RUST AND DINGS!

WTB/Trade/ISO I just don't have 2-300 dollars or I'd buy an OSCILLOSCOPE. I'm a bigamist, maried to transistors and tubes also. I already gave away that pretty blue Univega a long time ago in a Pay-It-Forward far, far away and I could find some vintage or antique tube gear in here but shipping would be a factor. Have a few good vintage 10" and a 12" pair of woofer lying around too.

In other words, I broke up with a girlfriend and chose a hobby not a dog.

YoKev 12-21-08 06:39 PM

Well, my hope two posts above fell through.

If anyone has a British made audax/sportif/touring frameset to part with, 52 or 53cm, I would be interested in hearing about it. My Woodrup would love another Leeds made machine to keep it company:love:

Any luck finding a 27.0 seatpost?

divineAndbright 12-22-08 04:23 PM

Have great shape 70s Campagnolo record high flange hub set, 36 hole. Only have the original back skewer (straight type), no skewer for front unless you want some generic one

Looking for a Zeus high flange hub set or dura ace (not the anodized black version) 36 hole..

USAZorro 12-22-08 05:13 PM

Looking for:

QR skewers appropriate for 120mm and 126mm rear wheels, and 100mm front.

Have:

NOS QR skewers for 130mm rear, NOS hollow rear axles for Maillard/Normandy/Atom

geekrunner 12-22-08 05:59 PM

Hey! I am in need of a Stronglight 93 early '70s crankset and/or Mafac brakes.

I have a set of Sansin low flanged hubs with skewers, rear hub new, front hub used but in decent condtion, should be disassembled and regreased. Also have a set of Shimano Light Action derailleurs, front and rear.

There should be a lot of Sugino and SR's out there in 27.0.
And I'm a Tarwheel member. I'll see what I can find...
