ISO - 1" threaded fork, pref. chrome, black, or celeste (!) & Columbus-tubed but will settle for anything but a unicrown fork.

I've got an late 80s Bianchi track frame that I'd like to ride on the street w/a front brake & would like to refrain from drilling the original fork/becoming an outcast on the nyc fixed forum.

Thanks!

I can't find a pic of just the washer. It has two tabs, one to catch on the derailleur and one to catch on the hanger. You can see them poking out at the derailleur hanger bolt in these two pics:

I think you can see the piece--at least I hope it's the same piece on this Sachs-Huret--stausty is seeking in this photo; as he said, it's the tabbed washer.

Thanks for helping clarify. That's basically it, but the Simplex version has two tabs going in opposite directions.

You wouldn't happen to want yellow velocity aeroheads (erd 602) in 28h with an o/c rear rim would you?

ISO: Mavic MA40 laced to a 600 tri-color front hub.

Just got a nice 6400 group, but the guy had had his front wheel stolen a couple years ago sold it with some bladed-spoke abomination.

I know that most of it is junk, but since I don't want to throw it away, I thought I would toss it in with deals so you guys could use them on your flippers. I'm not looking for much anyway. See pictures.

Have:
1. Suntour barcons with some wear with/without downtube cable stop (pending)

2. Future looking pedals with strange metal tabs (Seriously, I don't know crap about clipless pedals, so an ID of what they are could be helpful)

3. 2 sets of crappy plastic pedals (one of them cracked but usable, did I mention throwins)

4. Shimano 105 pedals with toe clips (I'm keeping the straps)

5. 2 Zefal Solibloc frame pumps (schrader valve hose)

6. Nitto Young stem - 22.2(?) (on bottom in picture) - came off an old Fuji

7. another stem that says 'SR 5355 Japan' (no idea of what it is) - came off an old Fuji, probably not original to the bike

8. Brooks wrench (pending)

9. 2 wedge bags (throwin)

10. kickstand (don't know if all of the hardware is there. but it is a throwin)

11. Fuji Look saddle -appears to be in decent shape except the fabric is coming up at the back (can it be glued?)

12. Suntour Cyclone long cage RD (pending)

13. Suntour Cycone MII long cage RD (not pictured)

Looking for:
1. pedals similar to the MKS touring or MKS Sylvan road pedals. I have a wide foot and need a wider pedal. I could use two sets. (2 pending in)

2. Toe clips for above pedals (pending)

3. old ivory colored cable housing (formerly white) for barcon shifters (second set) would be a great score. I need some to match the brake housing on one of my bikes. I'll happily take used. New white housing just doesn't match the bike anymore. I'd consider buying new housing to trade for old housing that is in decent shape.

ISO:

I need a single lock nut for a Suntour bar end shifter. I know its a long shot but maybe someone has a trashed one.

It just will not keep the cable tension on the FD without it; it keeps loosening up after a few rides.

Thanks for checking.

If you mean that domed, round nut with the slot that goes over the recessed nut, I'm afraid I don't have a spare. But I did find that an any appropriately threaded will nut work (such as another like the one that's recessed). There's just enough room in there to get a socket head on the nut and tighten it up.

I was thinking just that, but it seems that 23skidoo has a couple spares.

ISO roadbike, 52CM (ish)

I just got into bikes in March, and now am building bikes for the family.
My wife just took over my son's bike (flat bar, Performance road frame, and wal-mart schwinn parts) so I need to get him a bike. He wants to move up to drop handlebars anyway.

I've got the itch for Vintage or Classic, but have to get him something he can do a few charity rides on too.

Just looking for something cheap and rideable; not collectable - he's pretty short but could fit a 51-53CM or equivelent - 54CM is too big for now (at least the one I tried).

Perfer indexed shifting, stem shifters might be easier for him but downtube would be fine. Bar end would just be sweet but probably out of my price range.

Did I mention cheap? Just starting in March I had to buy all the silly equipment, tools, and related junk.

Anything in the Houston/Austin area and cheap. I've been watching craigslist - There is a Raleigh Grand Sport listed I was going to look at if it doesn't sell. I've tried a few garage sales but haven't even seen a road bike at all. Any advice in PM on where to look would be helpful too.

Um, subjective opinion here, but would need a budget guide...for $200-$300:
Centurion Ironman or Lemans or Lemans RS
Panasonic DX Series
Fuji's
Miyata's
the odd Lotus or two (Lotii?)
Peugeot Triathlon
Trek 500 series or up, or maybe an older Trek aluminum if priced right..

There are lots, and there and plenty of helpful BF members in your area...
