[Help!] Classic decals?
Howdy -- long time lurker, first time posted in C&V.
After much, much, much, much hand wringing, I have made the leap to take all my good 10 speed drivetrain stuff off my $1200 dollar Felt F75 and throw it on my $20 garage sale find -- a mid-80's Schwinn Prelude (Black frame, and a very-80's-ish multicolor trim of the words "Schwinn" and "Prelude." ) Not a Paramount, but I tell you what -- it is a darned comfy bike, and has been an absolute pleasure to ride, even with downtube shifters and a less-than-perfectly smooth 6 speed drivetrain.
So -- I have already torn down the bike and started sanding the frame for repaint over Christmas (brother in law works in an auto-body shop, so we are going to paint the frame after business hours). By the way - the paint was shot, so no chance of keeping it original without big $$$$ -- lots of deep scratches, but no rust.
My inspiration that put me over the edge is timcupery with his build here: https://www.bikeforums.net/bicycle-mechanics/273406-my-bike-build-rivendell-drooling.html.
I plan to keep the frame mostly blank/free of decals; am going to try to clear over the bare, polished (not chrome) lugs, and use a bright metallic blue for the rest of the bike. Worst case, I have to do the whole bike blue if we can't make the clear look good over the bare metal (which I'm already worried about).
However -- if at all possible and not cost prohibitive, was thinking about putting a Columbus Tenax sticker where the existing one is. Anyone know how to get your hands on something like that???
I won't lose sleep if I cant find one, but thought I would replace that sticker.
The rest of the decals are just too 80s for me (and yes, I was around in the 80s, wrapping up high school). So plan to keep it blank other than the original Schwinn headbadge, and maybe a small, tasteful U.S. / Tennessee flag decal (which would NOT be under the clear coat).
Bike will be trimmed out with white bar tape, a brooks saddle (you all have convinced me it is worth the price), Easton Circuits, and red-accent tires.
In my mind, it's going to look great....hopefully it will in reality.
So - to a make a long question short -- anyone know where I can get the Tenax stickers? Or am I wasting time for a useless / worthless sticker?
***Once done (after the holidays) will get photos posted from start to finish.***
Thanks!

You gonna eat that?
No help but a similar request. I'll be painting a Schwinn World Sport. I already have a sheet of decals to replace the current ones, but there is one that was not included, probably because you can't do this properly with a wet-transfer decal:
Anyone know where I can get one of these?

A prelude is a nice bike...I have seen tenax decals on eBay periodically. Watch it for a couple of weeks and one may turn up.
What are you gonna do with the Felt? A nuovo record group?

Right now - leaning towards selling the frame/fork/stem.
It's a 60, I think the geometry is just a little big too stretched out for me (was my first bike....and I bought it because everyone said I needed a 60).
Other reason for selling - moving to Japan for at least three years, so no use in having a new bike hanging in storage that someone else could use.
BTW -- I bet there are lots of C&V bikes over there -- so this may become my timewaster over there!
