By various permutations of chance and craigslist, in the past week I ended up with two Stronglight 93 cranksets in decent shape. One is attached to a nice Gitane Super Corsa and the other is attached to half of a BB. I was planning on selling at least one of them on ebay, mainly because I don't want to deal with needing the special crank puller but to do that I have to get the damn things off. I live in DC and I called all seven bike shops in the city but not a one has a Stronglight crank puller so I'm in a bit of a bind. I really don't want to spend $40 on a tool I'll only use once so I was hoping someone on here might be willing to help me out? Is there anyone with a Stronglight puller (not T.A., I don't really want to risk any damage) who would be willing to mail it to me so that I could use it twice and mail it back? I will of course pay for all shipping and would be glad to add a little beer money to make it worth your time, I'm just looking for a cheaper option than buying one. I understand if no one is willing to mail out their precious tools but if it helps user Dr. Deltron should vouch for me if you ask him, I sold him a wheelset a year or two back. I could also do some sort of paypal deposit thing for the value of the tool until you get it back.
