Your Catch of the Day / Saved from the Dump!
WV is not flat..
Nothing super special but a good $18 pick up. 1994 Schwinn CrissCross. I'm kinda digging the trekking bars, I think Schwinn calls the Glen Bars. Also the Tektro levers with wings are kind of rare. I was pretty impressed that it still has the price tag on it from 5/94 at $349.95 from one of my favorite LBS's from years ago.

My $10 FB marketplace find, 1980 Raleigh Record Ace 10 Speed. Needs tires and has a little bit of overspray on it, but other than that it's in good shape.

I was walking past the local junk store, and the lady there knows I'm into bikes. She yelled at me that she had one. This is what I got for 80.00, an all original Giant\Cadex CFR2 with 8 speed 105 with first gen brifters, those crazy Scott extended handlebars and Giant branded Look pedals. Front wheel needs a little truing, otherwise in really good shape.

Nice pick-up on the billiards table, providing of course that you have the room. The felt looks good, which is surprising. Are you going to set it up yourself @Mr. 66 ? I have a fiend that know someone that does this for a living and he had him set up a table and put new felt on it and my it took the full day to do. My friend said it came out great, but you would expect that from a pro. One tip that I did get from them is that they use playing cards as shims to level the slate There must be some good videos on how to set up a pool table, if you do it yourself. Good luck. Have fun with it.
I'd love to have a basement that has enough room for a pool table, but if I did, I'd probably turn it into more workshop space.

Picked this up locally from an auction that I didn't know that I won for a total of $12. I thought for sure that the other bidder won. Other guy probably backed out because I was the only bidder left. Needs a lot of cleaning though. 1980 or 81 Lotus Odyssey, 56cm.

I've had that exact bike. GREAT bike! I remember determining it was what you'd call a "fast touring" class of bike. Should clean up really nicely!

Brooks Swift for $50. The owner used it once or twice before switching to a B17. Sometimes, it pays to hound FB marketplace.

Found at the dump yesterday - near-mint Rockhopper. Mostly original and totally functional other than needing tires/tubes.

I had a couple of quiet hours to clean up the garage, when my wife texted these pics of a free tandem near a birthday party she had gone to. Oh well, I'll clean the garage tomorrow!

Seeing vintage tandem prices falling in the craigslist/Ebay finds thread, I figured this was coming. Nice catch!

Another one, off of craigslist. Nice they offered it up before putting in the elements for a few years. JacobLee what brand was that?

That's awesome, looks like it could be custom but also looks to have a HB that may not be.

Will same great wife ride it with you?

Lot's of mud and spiders. Guy said they had had it since the 80's. I'm kicking myself for not asking who built it. Nothing under the Denmark sticker. Lots of interesting parts. Wife and daughter both like to tandem, but we've already got one that is dialed. We'll see!
