We won. 23skidoo, Platypius and myself chipped in and bought the lot. 23skidoo's cousin is going to pick up the lot and drop off my bike (PX10) and Platypius' bikes ate Platypius' work. From there 23skidoo will pickup his stash and Platypius will pack and ship the PX to myself in Tampa.
Nothing like a fancy Nervex lugged PX10 for $190!!!
Nothing like a fancy Nervex lugged PX10 for $190!!!
Miamijim's Peugeot is in good shape - obviously ridden, but taken care of for the most part. (Minus the missing derailleur, of course)
23skidoo ended up with 2 brand new bikes, not 1. I have a new (just unwrapped it) Stella Arctic with Campy and Simplex parts, and a rather beat up, but identical, frame with rear wheel.
Since I haven't sent the pics of the bikes to the other guys yet, I'll only post mine.
The Arctic is a lugged frame, and is actually reasonably light. It has Campy horizontal drop-outs, Campy hubs, and Campy Pump umbrella. The shifters and derailleurs are Simplex. The brakes and levers are Weinmann. The crank is a Nervar. (Anyone know if this takes "normal" pedals? I'm not familiar with French stuff...) The cable guides (bolt-on) are Simplex. The rims are Mavic tubulars. Missing is the seatpost, saddle, and post bolt. The separate frame is a little beat up. Looking at all of the bikes, I think most of them were used for parts. The saddle, post, and bolt off of my Arctic, ALL of the parts (except the rear wheel) off of the other Arctic, a pedal and a stem bolt off of 23skidoo's bikes, etc.
Anyhoo, here are the (bad) cellphone pics of the Arctics...

We really hit the jackpot didnt we? Richard gets 2 brand new Gitanes, you get a almost new Campy equipted bike and I get a PX10 in original condition with its OEM Ideale saddle.
Feel free to post up pics of the PX10.

Damn Larry, those Arctics turned out to be a cut or two above Huffy gas pipe frames didn't they? I do feel a bit slighted cause there are no pics of my bikes here to share with fellow forum members--sob, sob. I'd like to thank you and Jim for recognizing this opportunity and working together as a team to win the auction and scoop up the goods; extra thanks to you for your round-trip drive and being the eyes of the team. I'll post some of the pics you emailed me later tonight when I don't have folks at work breathing down my neck. Is that one of the recently-altered cats trying to make a getaway on Jim's PX-10?

I have two vintage Raleigh Bikes , the blue one is a 10 speed and a Record model , the green one is a 3 speed , both are very nice bikes that have not been used in a while so they may need a little air in the tires and a little cleaning . Both bikes also have very nice Brooks seat saddles . $50 each

I wonder if that's a different year, or if they actually had different models. I wish Arctic Cat would get back to me with a "yes we have info" or a "Are you kidding?" - just...something, ya know?

Nice deal on a newer brooks swift in Columbus OH (not mine):
Brooks Swift - $75 (Columbus)
Just bought this on here but its too narrow for me. comes with the proofide and tension wrench, also willing to trade for a Brooks b17 standard.

I would have been all over these if not for the 2 hour drive:
https://columbus.craigslist.org/bik/1121052455.html
vintage Cinelli Giro d'Italia handlebar 42cm - $5 (Clintonville)
1990's vintage Cinelli handlebar, model 64-42. That means small drop, 42cm c-t-c width. The center sleeve diameter is 26.4mm. This only fits Cinelli stems through maybe the mid 90's, NOT standard road stems with 26.0mm clamp sizing.

Is this St. Etienne worth looking into? It's too big for me, but I wondered if anyone here was familiar with this model?

Trek T50
Trek T50 tandem bike in MINT SUPER CLEAN condition!!!
I'm the second owner and have had this for about 5 years or so and ridden it perhaps 5 times
I do not know the exact year of the bike but to the best of my knowledge after sleuthing around online is that
it's most likely from 1993 or 1994. Also not sure of the size but also to the best of my knowledge these only came in
one size.
Here are the details:
-Made in USA
-21 speed with Shimano EZ fire thumb shifters
-Acera X rear derailleur
-Matrix wheels with Sansin hubs, Trek tires (700x38c) & Shimano rim brakes
-Suntour Sakae cranksets 175mm front & rear with Trek pedals
-Bell gel fusion+ stoker seat, Bell cushion rear seat
-Topeak Dual Master Blaster pump
-two aluminum water bottle holders with mounts for three more

Socal $69 old Schwinn crosscut. Lugged butted chromoly 700c frame with canti's, triple rings, fender brazemonz, enough clearance for 30-35's AND fenders.. Peeps complain bout the lack of affordable used touring bikes, then these go unsold for less than a benjamin...

Miyata 112 - $30
https://detroit.craigslist.org/bik/1054205917.html
I think it is a 1988. Not a bad deal for a triple butted, sub 25 lb, chromoly framed bike.
