vintage peugeot road bike....very nice - $125

I've already dispatched an email. From the pictures, it has safety levers and the dropouts don't look like the quality kind. Anyone think this is worth the trip?

How long is the trip? Appears to be an early 70's UO8,well maintained and priced correctly, especially if the wheels are in good(rideable) shape. Out here in SoCal it would sell for more. I'd buy it.

Huh, there was an Eddy Merckx that belonged to somebody's ex posted for $50 this morning in Denver craigslist with the same phone number. You would think if they were going to the effort of changing the "bike" they would have bothered to change to a Chicago number...

edit: A friend in DC just sent me this one... this time it's a Benotto, same number.

I called, I got a recording. It sounded like its a legit advertising firm. They haven't called me back (yet?). ' probably never will. ' learned a lesson here, no more inquiries if its an out of state number.
