quick brooks question
 

i just picked up an old brooks competition, with A 78 stamped into the metal underneath. what does this tell me? its pretty used, but still very viable. any information that i should know? ride it? sell it? thanks!

I think that means the saddle was made in 1978. Try riding it. It may take a few weeks to break in (conform to you).
