A 7-11 Team for East Hill

7-11 Merckx

Oh, there are days when I wish I was an inch or two taller!

That 50cm is just a tad bit too big though. You really had me going there, I thought you might have found me a 48cm (which would be perfect :D ).

Still, it would fit bmaxwell :innocent: .

I think it's actually a 49, at least from the serial number.

Do you measure c-c or c-t? Seat post is 48.5cm c-c, 50cm c-t.

It still has a bit too much headtube for my liking. Normally I don't see any space on the headtubes of my bikes.

OT, but there is a Colnago that looks to be very small being floated on the Serotta forum:

EastHill,
The way Serotta does their images, I can't just snag them and repost here. I'm assuming you read the thread. It is silver/pink fade, C-Record, and probably a 48-49cm with teeny head tube. It would be worth joining the forum and PM'ing him/her if interested. I told them to post here, but as you may know, the site was down for a good part of the early day.

Here's the best I could do:

Wow, that is indeed an East Hill bike!

Ok, I will trudge over there and sign up  .

Yeah, they are telling him $500-$1000 for a Colnago with Cobalto's and C-Record!

mainducoyote 01-06-09 08:57 PM

With what looks like a flawless first gen c-record crankset...

Old Fat Guy 01-06-09 09:00 PM

mainducoyote,

Can you tell what the RD is on that bike?

If I was a 'nago fan I would have someone in LA pick that up for my wife.

mainducoyote 01-06-09 09:09 PM

Maybe last generation C-Record or just Record but I'm not sure . I find it strange that it's not a first generation C-Record.

I joined up and posted into the thread. I also sent tamh a PM.

What a beautiful little bike :D .

A great colour, too!

If it had been 4cm, it would have been mine.

And just to make East Hill's life more full of tough decisions . . . .

I'm not sure, but I think it is related to Murphy's Law in some way.
