Peeling clear coat on classic carbon fiber
I finally receive my 2300 Trek frame in the mail which I picked up in case my 2100 couldnt be repaired, all is good but on some parts of the carbon the clear coat has come off, and some other places its kinda blistering, if I were to run my finger nails against those spots it cracks off.. Just wondering what I should do about this, would some spray on clear coat on the bad areas suffice? I don't really wanna go through tring to strip all the clear off, especially since the decals would be ruined.
Oh yeah, a lil mock up photo!

Hi.. there are many trheads about it but basically you needs to just buff the clear coat out using wet sand paper for example, just enough to get all smoot and nice (it will turn dull ok?) Then a glossy clearcoat and buff the cr@p out of it.
