A Dog in a Hat

Any you guys/girls read this book? I'd recommend it especially to the vintage racers in the group. It's written by Joe Parkin who some of you may know was one of the first American Pro racers in Europe in the 80's. It's just a great story about how a talented racer from the states just found himself in the crazy lifestyle of a Belgian bike racer. It also goes to show you how much luck there is involved in racing. One day you can be in tip top shape in the best of your form and get taken out by a flat tire. I wish he talked a bit more about bikes and equipment but it's really a great read.
