Is this saddle AMERICAN ? on Moulton.

I just had to ask because I like this saddle and would like one for a project bike....The bike is a works prototype Y-frame Moulton which was being used for development in 1978....I read that the rider used an American saddle for his 600 mile a week schedule...can anyone identify the saddle?
best wishes from UK...

Is it an Avocet? That was an American distributor of parts from who knows where...both European and Asian sources. But they made the sit bone pads famous. And the early ones kind of looked like that.

Cool Gear, that's it! For some reason I was thinking Grab-On, but I know they made foam handlebar grips.
