78 Raleigh Pro - Finally making some progress

Like the title says, my Raleigh is finally starting to resemble a bike. I am still waiting on a few parts to show up, some new Ambrosio drop bars, Campy NR rear derailer and some NOS NR brake levers that i'm very excited about. I hope to replace the weinmann brake calipers, Gran sport front derailer, 5 speed atom freewheel and maybe eventually the tipo hubs as funds allow.

A very big thank you goes to my LBS (Ernie's in Canton) for the extremely generous prices on the NR Crank set and the NOS cinelli stem.

Hopefully I will be asking bar tape color question soon enough.

The frameset as I bought it:

And how it looks so far (I wanted to take better pics outside but it is raining)

Beauty!

White cloth, white Benotto tape, or white leather, black cloth, or silver Benotto tape would all look stunning.

Brooks leather to match the seat.

When I was younger, I always wanted one of these with the fat back seat stays and "Cinelli" full-sloping crown. Yours looks really nice. Congratulations!

Are those tubular or clincher rims? What tires will you be using? I'll suggest you use Challenge. As they are really, really nice.

I've had trouble finding decent clips, straps and riding shoes. Then again, I do wear a size 13 (big feet).

Exciting morning, I just got my NOS NR brake levers today! They are going to look sweet, now I can't wait for my Ambrosio bars to show up.
