Atala Bottom Bracket
I picked up a circa 1970's Atala Corsa today (on the side of the road) and plan to convert to a fixie. This may qualify for the stupid question of the year award, but can/should I assume that the BB is italian?

That's mountain bike. 70mm is Italian.
For the OP, it's a pretty safe bet but just measure the width and if it's 70mm it's Italian.
