Help with identification

Can anyone help identify a bike I have picked up and started restoring. I have checked previous threads and searched other sites without coming up with a lot of information. Please excuse my lack of correct terminology as my background is more motorcycles and mountain biking. The frame and chromed forks are stamped Gipiemme. I found information on Gipiemme components but not on a frame. Rims are Ambrosio 19, exceltoo hubs, Italmanubri competition bars, Mistral by Ofmega crank set, Kashimax Aero saddle, seat post unknown and headstock stamped '110 Italy' with a triangle symbol. Bike was in rough condition but I loved the lines and could see potential. Any information would be appreciated. I have many photos if anyone is interested.

Need pics.
Gipiemme made components, and also widely used frame building elements such as dropouts and brake bridges.

Thanks for reply. I probably should have mentioned it is fixed gear with no brakes. I have attached two photos but was having trouble attaching more, will try again later.

OK it's a track frame and probably of Italian origin, but without better pics it's like the blind trying to describe an elephant. if you do have "many photos" why not upload them all to flickr or photobucket and give us the link...generally we need to see an overall from the drive side; details of the headlugs; seatcluster; BB shell; fork crown...and any serial numbers or stampings; decal fragments...you already have good shots of the Gipiemme ends. Also BB threading, seatpost size and HS/fork threading...very helpful.

Thanks for the tips, will do more homework and get back when I am more organised.
