cool trek I saw
Driving through town this afternoon I happened upon an older than me even gentleman riding a blue Trek. I rolled down the window and asked him what year it was and he told me it was about a 1990. It was dark blue with bar end shifters and looked like it would make a really great commuter. I have no idea what the model was but I want one NOW. So now I gotta ask if anybody has any idea what it might have been. It had fenders on it but I didn't get a good answer from him about what they were and if they were stock. Really a cool bike though.

Dark blue, or medium blue? Medium blue with white decals from 1990 would tell me Trek 400...

It was dark blue but not as dark as Navy if that helps but it had barend shifters on it.

Here are my Trek's, both 1985 models, a 400 and a 500 (the burgandy one).
