$6000 Apollo ?
|
For 6K it better have Roman numerals after the Apollo............and been to the moon.
|
I saw that, $600 MAYBE! if it is mint and I still doubt it would get that on ebay. That said I would love to see it.
This individual is insane... how could they possible even think for a second they may get any interest in that!? |
What makes you think it's a guy selling the bike? From what a couple buddies went thru when they got divorced the ad could be from the ex-wife believing the toys she stole, in the divorce, are worth a lot more than actual value.:innocent:

The price is ridiculous. That's six times the orignal price.

I knew the market here was inflated, but seriously...
I do want to see a genuinely high-end Apollo though, I'm not sure that they exist. |

I do want to see a genuinely high-end Apollo though, I'm not sure that they exist. Besides that there were lots of nice ones (I'd call them higher end though not the highest of then end, they couldn't compete with the full racing bikes and didn't really try that much.. the aero aside).. with full chromoly double butted frames, some with chrome and nice Japanese parts... the imperial is one, the gran tour is another... both very nice kuwahara made bicycles. To a lesser extent even the club sport was a chromoly bike with forged drop-outs, though no chrome.. |
What blows me away is they couldn't even be bothered snapping a picture of their "$6000 bike".
