1983 schwinn voyageur
I just found out a friend of mine has a 1983 chrome schwinn voyageur hanging in his garage.Does anyone have any imput as to where they rank as far as quality, collectability, etc.Anyone have any pics of one?I dont know if it will be for sale but if it is i will take pics and post it.It will be too large for me but someone on the forum might want one.He asked me what one was worth so I think he might sell it.I'll see next weekend.

1983 and chrome? That's odd. '80 & '81 were the chrome Voyageur 11.8s (sport touring), '83 was a touring model.

The chrome bikes seem to command a $100/$150 premium lately. I would think you could get at least $250 for a chrome Voyageur 11.8 in nice condition.
