Will Dura Ace downtube shifters work with Campagnolo derailleurs?
I am having trouble getting be hands on Campy 9 speed downtube shifters (at a reasonable price). Will Dura Ace 7700 work with a 9 speed Campy derailluer? I am thinking no (do to what I was able to search), but couldn't find a conclusive answer.
Thank you.
Thank you.

the indexing will be off, but if you run them as friction you should have no problem.
a jtek shiftmate may solve the indexing problem. (you want #3 or #4 depending on what you have)

Dura Ace shifter will work with any derailleur as long as the derailleur will have enough travel. Are you running a Dura Ace shifter with Campy cogs? If that is the case then you can order a spacer kit from Branford bike.

Thanks for all the replies. I actually do not have any of the mentioned components yet. I am contemplating a switch to a 9 speed drive train on my Circuit. I can source everything but the Campy downtube shifters at a reasonable price. I may go all Dura Ace or I may do nothing, but I saw the downtube shifters being a hang-up if I went the Campy route.
Onetwentyeight - thanks for the link. I wasn't aware that such a part existed. This is great.

Welcome. I've been using one to match campy record 9 speed shifters with an xtr derailleur (on a cross bike that sees some heavy abuse) with great results.
