Nishiki pro value
Cleaning out the garage for a yard sale and wondering if my 1970's nishiki pro has any value. It has sew up tires and shift paddles on the ends of the handlebars. Somehow I've misplaced the seat, but other than that it is all there and in pretty good shape. It has been stored indoors since I bought it in the early 70's. Thanks for your help.

There doesn't seem to be too many Nishiki collectors out there. Post a picture.

It is a nice enough bike, but I fear you will find little demand from collectors. Since it is not a competitive racing bike by modern standards, the tubular tyres will probably detract from its resale value. I do like those SunTour ratchet barcons, though!

Hmmm...the first really nice bike I wanted to buy in the 70's was a Nishiki Pro...but I couldn't come up with the scratch..so I bought a Nishiki Competition instead...is this bike green (and were not talking a shade of bashful green) by any chance? |
