This. |
Is the fork CF or just painted black? Either way it's a very nice bike. Great job, you'll enjoy it.

No to the Carbon Fiber fork. My budget didn't allow too many new products. It is the original steel fork.
Thanks for great comments! |

did you paint the pedals?
the fork looks odd to me, where it goes into the headtube, its like too small or something? I know there's nothing wrong with it, but it looks kind of funny. Other than that, the bike looks superb, well done! |
the bike looks great. but really, why are you posting it here? are 1999 bikes Classic or Vintage now?
|
sure. they don't make 'em any more, right?

The fork is stock - may just look weird in the angle that the picture was taken. Pedals are my old LOOK's repainted. My goals were: 1. To have a Celeste Bianchi - (accomplished) 2. Completely clean, relube, adjust, restore - (accomplished) 3. Replace worn and or needed parts(replaced all tubes, tires, chain, bar tape, cables, seat) - (accomplished) 4. Do this all within a reasonable budget - (accomplished) |
Well done. That's a damn sexy piece of velo right there.
|
Looks good except for the front skewer.
