Scored some nice bikes from the trash!

These bikes were in the trash pile. I've got to figure out how to restore these bad boys. I know I've got a set of modern 700c wheels for the italian CDI bike, I just don't have the cash right now to sandblast and powder coat the frames like they should be. And I'm going to try to keep them as is as much as I can, especially the CDI. Thoughts?

Not trying to sound negative here, just constructive. This picture makes the frame look like it may be bent:

Is that a Campagnolo Valentino Extra rear derailleur?

I don't think this has one of the models of cranks that go for big bucks. It's cotterless, but looks like the chainrings are inseparable from the spider. That's a despicable design feature.

O.P. Looks like you may have rescued two that were headed for the other kingdom. Wish you the best in getting them up and going, and making them feel appreciated.

No, typical 5-pin TA: 5 bolts on the arm hold on the outer chainring; inner bolts to that...

My error. I was looking at the one on the other bike.

MKeller, you're right, not only is the down tube bent and bulging at the head tube, the top tube is worse, you can just barely see it in the picture. Guess I know why that one was in the trash

No, some idiot painted something with Lacquer without covering these bikes. Lacquer remover takes it right off....

Well the cable housing clamps said "Dura Ace", but the components themselves said Shimano 600 (Ultegra precursor?)...

Nice find. Looks like someone just thought they were not worth anything. What's the label on the Capri say about the frame tubing? Is that 502 chromoly?
