Where have the Legnanos gone?

I 've noticed in the past several months a decrease in the number of Legnanos available for sale. As of this moment there are only four Legnanos for sale between both Craigslist and Ebay. None of them are selling. Any C&Vers have any ideas re this situation? Have any other marques dipped noticeably?

Not many Umberto Dei, or Automoto, or Galmozzi either.

I don't think Legnano was an especially large producer - there certainly weren't many sold on this side of the pond.

They always seem plentiful around the Bay Area; I think the importer was in San Leandro.

Not selling? I think everyone is sorta puckered financially right now...

The holy grail stuff will always move, but I don't think Legnano fits that, unless its really old.

Too bad you didn't make it by on Saturday. I had three Galmozzi bikes to show you in my garage.

It's spring. They are migrating north this time of year. Check Wisconsin, Minnesota and Canada.

I was really hoping to. Got caught in a "had to do it" run to Secaucus. I'd really like to see those roosters. I know at least two of them I haven't seen in person yet.

I'm hoping things work out next year. If so, I'll bring the Hetchin's, and I won't get offended if you give your honest opinion.
