"HUTTY AMERICA ''MADE IN USA'' WOMEN BIKE - $40 (WATAUGA)"

http://dallas.craigslist.org/ftw/bik/1812540824.html

We always complain because they mis-spell the bike brand when it's right there on the frame. See the picture? Doesn't that look like "Hutty"?

i am offering a bianchi bike... unsure what model it is... but it is identical to the king bee road (ebay lists it for 600.00... http://cgi.ebay.com/Bianchi-KingBee-...item2a080d6866) i would just like and offer... or maybe even a trade for electronics... (GPS, Wii, things like that it does need rims and tires, but is in beautiful condition...

The bike he is selling.

I bet I know where he pulled that number from.

Maserati
Ok, who isn't impressed with a bike bearing on of the great names of Italian automobile exotica? Most of the bicycles bearing this label were built by Fiorelli. There were many quality levels. Perhaps the best quality examples with N.R. parts might be worth around $1,200. Other lesser models have values based mostly on their parts value.

"I am selling my Specialized Stumpjumper. It has not seen that much use, it is about 11 years old (1999). it has an Mantou SX fork, XTR front and XT rear. lots of good stuff.
The current version of for (2009) Specialized Stumpjumper Comp sells for $1,850.00 (thanks to a fellow bike enthusiast) "

Hmm. This one's been running for at least a month now at $1200 with no bites? Weird...

I wanna know what's going on with the handlebars there. I've never seen "road" handlebars quite like that. And from the 70's?

I've seen those on exercise bikes, they look slightly less bizarre on those machines. The old saddle is the only thing I like about this bike, but I wonder why he didn't choose a shiny new mattress saddle for it?

Does this frame look bent to you?

Ralliegh Supercourse road bike - $295 (Janesville)

Date: 2010-06-29, 7:46AM CDT
Reply to: sale-2jszz-1816827993@craigslist.org

This bike was originally bought at michael's cycles bike shop in Janesville. at the time of purchase, it was one of the stores higher end road bikes. full aluminum frame. This years model "supercourse" is a full carbon fiber frame, and runs in the thousands of dollars range. This bike was made in the usa, something that modern road bikes don't have in common unless you spend over 5 thousand dollars. the bike comes with shoes specific to the aftermarket pedals on it, which were also bought at michaels cycles. If you pick up the bike, you'll be impressed with how light it is, and if you test ride it, you'll fall in love with how fast it is.

contact me via email, or text me at 608-201-6730

thanks,
Joe

i would really question the use of a fisheye lens in an ad. Does seem like they're trying to hide something.

Project Bike for the Non-Elitist - comes with back travel rack! - $25 (Amherst, MA)
Date: 2010-06-29, 7:13AM EDT
Reply to: sale-bvqjv-1816764165@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

Okay, the rack alone I am selling for $15. The bike itself is only worth $10. Seriously. It is a Huffy, and old, thus, it's pretty junky. I will admit, though, that it has lived a very good life. I absolutely love it, but I have another bike and this one is taking up space.
What I mean by "project bike for the non-elitist" is that, it's a Huffy.
WARNING: Unless you are a bike mechanic and know what you're doing (can fix this bike up for cheap), DO NOT BUY THIS BICYCLE. It may kill you. This is not a bike for the impressionable. If you're looking for a cheap bike, that is halfway decent, please go to Dick's Sporting Goods. You'll find cheap, but not $10 cheap. You get what you pay for, and $10 cheap is about as good as a broken down Huffy from the 80's that is all rusty, w/ wheels out of true, heavy as a tank, etc.
Now that we're past the disclaimer,
This bike is a mountain bike - Model: Rock Trail, and it is a 14 speed. It could be a real classic for the true Huffy enthusiast.
