No one is going to pay that price for a pair of gloves. At least, not without the word "Vintage" attached......

My Dad likes to fix things up and so he "created" this one-of-kind bike. It works (although front end is wobbly) and is definately different. If you are interested, please e-mail me and we'll set up an appointment for you to check out these wheels. If this ad is up, the bike is still available. Thanks
I like the chopper, it's really not a bad price for an unusual ride.

So the bad guys got bank accounts and the good guys got bikes!?! Come on, Switzerland. I think it's actually a swizz army bike. Surely a neutral defense force couldn't supply a vehicle marked with its national emblem to an aggressor.

Anyway, if I had 1,200 burning a hole in my pocket, I wouldn't be splashing the cash on that.

Now this POC from Thailand for a mere 800? Maybe.*

This site is like a Roman CL, but is named after an old market that is notorious for trading stolen bikes.

This is my ad on Chicago CL. I originaly placed the ad without the Raleigh notation. I was expecting a flood of inquiries. Nothing! Not a single response.

So I thought I would add Raleigh to the title as many people do searches for Raleigh. Again no responses. After several days a forum member contacted me and we made a deal. Ad is still up and 1 response, which I answered before I sold the bike, and the guy never got back to me. I'm just going to let the ad run and maybe list it again just to see what the market is like. Selling on CL lately is down the tubes.

It's a Ross "Signature Series" 290S; I recently got a 290S frame/fork that looks just like that (without the Raleigh markings). Well, this CL example is in *much* better shape, but mine was only five bucks. Just have to decide what to do with it.

I do wonder why someone stuck a "Raleigh USA" decal on it...

Great parts bike. Wheel set alone is worth the asking price. All shimano components. Worked great before I broke the frame.

What wheel set is that? I took the stickers off of a similar pair I have on a ~'90 Diamondback centurion

that trek is nice and i bet i could sell it for around $500 but $1100 is pretty expensive. but who knows, maybe someone will cough up that much.. if the guy regularly lists overpriced bikes, one would assume he also regularly sells them too

You only need rings...there are 130BCD and 110BCD rings in various sizes. They can be had cheaply on eBay on occasion. If you're REALLY interested PM me, I might have some extras.
