Just that it wasn't Shimano, that they never made an "800" series anything. He got back to me and hopefully corrected the description. He won't sell it for much, but, will hopefully retain some integrity (EBay integrity? Isn't that an oxymoron?).

That's just a bbcbikes / Budget Bicycle Center ad. They've always made their prices up out of thin air, and I don't imagine anyone has ever bought one at their ridiculous asking prices.

lol more than once i've seen sellers on CL link to bbcbikes ads on ebay, saying "this bike sells for thousands of dollars but i just want $500".. i wonder how that works out for them. I remember seeing a 1987 Diamondback Arrival on CL for over $1000, with a link to one for over $2000 from BBC bikes. I emailed them to tell them that bbcbikes is crazy. They didnt change their price but i dont see the ad any more, so either they sold it, or realized it wasnt worth much and stopped trying to sell it

You're too kind! The asking price needs to be adjusted, i.e. drop a zero off the back end. This is a sub-$200 bike at best.

It's a 1987 Nishiki Olympic that emulates the style the Georgena Terry started. They are bikes designed for women around 5' to 5'4" tall. 24" front wheel and a 700 rear wheel. And that is the OEM headbadge, too.

wheels are new, seat is old, but not correct, bars are old box style, some fake grab-on grips, and old cheng shin tires for skidding.
