Hmmm, did someone actually offer him their GF for these rims? Since he mentioned it, you have to wonder? He doesn't even know what brand they are, but he knows what they go for. He also stated a price for the Sprinters that is $30 over MSRP new, for each.,,,,BD

On the local Craigslist some poor sucker has been trying to sell a Softride for over a year. Asking $999. The market is soft for ugly obsolete TT bikes of doubtful design.

I missed out on one for $75.

^^ you're probably right, and I'll bet the chainring bolts weigh nearly as much as the steel handlebar.

Doesn't the OCR have a 1-1/8" threadless headset? How is that 1" stem connected? Just jammed down inside the alloy steer tube? Close enough ID to 22.2mm? how are the bearings loaded?

Wishing for a better picture with a closeup of that stem/headset!
