It's just the misspelling that is funny, sort of a mixed Spanish/English phonetic spelling of "horquilla" which means "fork."
Spanglish has a lot of wonderful possibilities. I have a friend whose young son calls socks "socketines" a cross between the English word and the Spanish word "calcetines."

If it`s funny enough, and you happen to be eating breakfast at the time, you might even get the wonderful experience of blowing confleik (my personal favorite spanglish word) through your sinuses and out your nose. You can wipe it off with those soquetines, of course!

a "roach Ciocc" for sure the fork is not original. I like how he mentions down tube shifters in the add, I guess they are technically down on a tube..

Brooks makes a lot of different saddles. I had a plastic one with springs made for mountain bikes.

Google or do research otherwise you make yourself look dunce. When most bike manufacturing switched to Asia with cheap vinyl saddles, Brooks had to make cheap models to compete. When I built my first "all pedal" what Americans call fixed gear in 1985. I used a Brooks vinyl saddle that cost me new the equivalent of US $14, bought from a Raleigh store. Brooks is the only company left in Birmingham from an era when they were 200 shops and factories within a three mile vicinity. They made\did what they had to, to survive. People and companies do that. Everybody has a dirty past.

And curved top tube frames were associated with whats commonly called compact frames, a one size fits all approach to frames. It provides additional standover height closer to the seat. Again a measure done to save money and cost of having to build 8 sizes as is often done today. Most compacts tend to have the curved, bent top tube. Buy Jr a compact frame and it grew with him.

Wiki definition same as what I said just in a different notion "In a compact-geometry frame, the top tube is normally sloped downward toward the seat tube for additional standover clearance."

I disagree its actually in very nice condition. I get you on "nice one". Id swap either of my two for that one in a heartbeat, its clean, no rips and very well kept considering its at least 30 years old.

Dang guy is too lazy to even go to his LBS...

Wanted, moblie bike mechanic (Parkville)
I have six bikes that need miner work, such as brakes tuned, gears tuned, etc...
Too many to bring to you.

Anyone need a few hours work? No surprises, just simple stuff. I do not have a garage or basement.
You must have tools and EVERYTHING that you need to do this.
Thanks.

So the experts are all wrong and smoking DOES pay... at least here in the form of a free Fuji

RARE-FUGI America FOLDING BIKE - limited edition - $150 (OVERLAND PARK)

The Fuji 4130 collectable Adventure Team folding mountain bike was built for a Marlboro promotion in the early 1990's. It was given out as a prize for collecting a certain number of points, mainly from cigarette packs. The bicycle is branded and was distributed by Fuji with a Marlboro head badge decal. This is a full 26" wheeled folding mountain bike, the mechanism folds the bike down the center once the seat post is removed from the frame. Great for storage, transport, or for camping. It is VERY EASY to fold and unfold!

It comes with a cloud 9 seat along with the original seat that came with the bike. Gently used and is in GREAT CONDITION. It is a VERY RARE find as not many were made!

Price is firm

It's not about being too lazy to go to the LBS. He is looking for a bike mechanic and he also states that there is miner work to be done. It's obvious that the bikes are buried deep underground and broken. So, after the miners dig down to them, the mechanic will fix them. That way, they will be in pristine condition when they are finally brought to the surface.

I posted this one back in March... shockingly, it still hasn't sold. I even emailed the seller and (politely, I believe), gave some tips for improving the ad. Of course, I got no reply. Now I find myself getting increasingly agitated every time the ad gets renewed...

I think the asking price is a bit ambitious for this one. I believe it to be a modded 87 SR400.
