Title reads: " ALENAX BICYCLE TRB 7000 W/HSINLUNG HANDLE BARS "

Are the General Lee and Hazard County ever going to fade away. Its a cultural embarassment that never ends.

I am very concerned for all the kids I see riding their tiny bmx bikes to get around. They either have to stand up and pedal or try to pretend their not miserable sitting in the saddle with their heels almost hitting the backs of their theighs with each pedal stroke. With the fixie trend on top of that, I think the smart money is studying to be an orthopedic surgeon in the intervening years until these kids can no longer walk.
Why would standing up to pedal cause anyone to "no longer walk"? You do this on a road bike when you want to put power down, too, just less frequently than on a BMX.
Sounds like you're just butthurt about missing out on how much fun 20" is.

Thanks cudak888,
I needed the clarification/education, the only CF frames I'm familiar with are those gelatinous blobby looking things you see on modern bikes.

It might help if he included "cervelo" somewhere in the listing.....

I know that there are a lot of bad spellers out there...but things that always make me chuckle are things like "new breaks" "rides good" etc... Then there are the completely clueless...who appear to write "detailed" descriptions apparently without actually looking at the bike. Examples include things like "Cannondale Mirage cranks" and "Shimano Deora hub".

I had one here in Tampa, the girl wrote, "my boyfriend works in a shop and just tuned it up so you know everything works."
I emailed her: "You need to find a new BF and your current one needs to find a new job. Even with the crappy CL pictures I'm able to see at least 7 things wrong with the bike. He's not doing you any favors."

Riding like its 1990
Recently, in my local CL I see a lot more single sellers who are finding an old bike, stripping it of parts, converting to a hack-job fixie and selling them for $200 - $300. No cleaning of the rusty chain, no washing the bike, just pull it out of the dumpster, whack the parts off and call it a fixie for big $.
Some of them are actually interesting bikes that should be sold for $100 with all parts so someone can at least clean and use it. I bet these fools bin the old parts, leaving the bikes hopelessly hacked up. What a waste. It's like they have no pride or respect to actually clean and lube and restore a bike, even to make it a gleaming example of a fixie.
I guess if they are selling then I need to get into the business too.
