Some brilliant copy.

Bike Parts

In need of a part? We have all kids of older vintage and some newer bike part's along with accessories. If we do not have, we can get asap for a fair price. "Just ask" second chance bikes.

Those can also be used to adapt a 25.4 quill stem to 1-1/8" threadless stem. I have one on my beater bike and in that capacity it is rock solid. I don't think I could bring myself to trust it to extend another quill stem though.

1999 softride bike - $100 (central tucson)

I have a 1999 aluminum softride bike that has been kept primarily indoors.
It's about 26 pounds built
It has been ridden 5x/week to work about 7 miles and occasionally used for long rides. The softride suspension is incredibly comfortable for long rides.

Brand New shimano rear derailleur and fairly new 7 speed cassette and chain, cleaned and oiled 1x a month.

Shimano large 2 speed chainring.
Dura-ace front derailleur
Shimano 105 brakes
Mavic front wheel
Zero lite wheel set
Both tires are good condition
Needs rear tube replacement
Needs fresh handlebar tape
Needs new brake cables, pads, and housings
May need fresh bottom bracket bearings
May need some work on the head tube

Reason I'm selling-
Top tube attachment point separated from the seat beam at the weld. It needs to be re-welded, I work 11 hours a day, 5-6 days a week now and don't have time to take it in and I got a new racing bike instead.

(For $100 I oughta buy it for the parts....)

As one who from bike coop experiance loothes over extended stems and truely hates cheapo stem extenders I try to scrape every one I see before someone trys to use it. Yes this takes it as one of the most dangerouse I have seen.

Sweet bike, but SERIOUSLY, $3000? This bike has been relisted for over a year now, maybe it's time to drop the price/go to eBay?

Not wacky so much as sad. This was a beautiful frame (and sort of my dream frame had it been a size larger and in better condition).

You'd think that when you are asking $225 for a stem shifted $150 bike that it would have a decent saddle. Or be clean.

You'd be wrong.

So for $125 more dollars you can get a clean stem shifted, hi-ten bike with a decent saddle. I think they were trying to unlock an achievement for world's most expensive Schwinn Sprint.

Schwinn Sprint 10 Speed Great Condition

Relocating to California and can't take the bike with me. Purchased from a dealer one year ago and hasn't had much use. In great condition. 10 speed. New tires. Great look. Great bike.
