So much wtf? on such a tiny bike.

[h=2]Diamond Back bike - $30 (rio rico )[/h]

This is a very cool bike with a springer front end and awesome spoke wheels. It needs a chain and most likely inter tubes or a tube repair.. not sure on that. It is pretty small but I am guessing it could be ridden by young adults as well as small kids...

"Hmmmm. I really wanted it in black. There's gotta be a way... WAIT! I've got like, SIX ROLLS of electrical tape! I could even do the cranks!"

[h=2]*****in Road Bike - $130[/h]

Very Light Road Bike, I am moving and wont be needing it any more.

I will include a small pump and bike lock with it

I do not know much about the bike but it hasn't given me any problems

It looks like a 16" Diamondback, which someone would pay decent money for to build a pit bike. That build is horrid though. Bleccchh!,,,,BD

I dunno, is the fork bent?

World's Largest Bike

World's Largest Bike

Great RAGBRAI attraction!

Bike stands 20' tall and is 32' long

The wheel diameter is 12'

The bike has training wheels with a battery operated cylinder to lift the training wheels off the ground.

In order to be in the World Record Book the bike has to be ridden without the training wheels for a certain distance.

At one point and time the Guinness Book or World Record's was going to come see it.

Also Ripley's Believe It or Not was interested in buying it for their show.

We are selling it because we haven't done anything with it for over a year and would like to see it go to someone who may ride it and get it in the Guinness Book of World Record's.

You haul, we can take wheels on for easier transporting.

We are asking $10,000 firm.

Damn shame the grinding off kills most of the frames value Takes it from a nice tourrer to a POS beater. As it is know I wouldn't pay more than $20 for it.

It's easier than trying to make canti brakes work after doing a 27" -> 700c conversion. Sure, you might get them to hit the rim -but you'll probably never be able to tune them to have any feel and stop worth a damn.

Easiest and best solution is to convert to Dia Compe 750 center-pull brakes after doing a 27" conversion. You get more room for tires up to 700x35c or even 38mm with fenders.

But just leave the canti studs where they are, Drew. They make a good spot to firmly mount racks to.

I learned quickly working in the bike shop. You can judge the quality of a bike immediately, if it has a Neco headset cap. It usually means Wally World quality.,,,,BD

That is the stupidest stupid thing I've ever seen. The only thing worse is the ebay "parts" sellers that cut the frame around the cranks, brakes, forks, etc, rather than remove them from the frame. I guess there are really people that clueless. Wow.,,,,BD

@nlerner may have a picture of a fork he bought just for kicks, and it came with the head tube and headset. Or something like that.
