Here's a wonderful "Step Thru" Touring Bike. It's a 1974 Murray "Leisure Tour" department store bike. Although its a 40 year old bike the presentation is excellent with a clean elegant look. Sold without mechanical issues. Lubed, adjusted and thoroughly tested. Terrific bike. All quality classic Japanese Shimano "Lark"derailleurs and Dia Compe brake components. Tire hugging CHROME fenders give a Euro-continental look. Classic Troxel sprung saddle. Union pedals. Great chrome on wheels, handlebars and stem. New black wall tires with puncture resistant tubes. 54cm. For a rider 5'6" up. Looks straight out of the New England countryside 35 years ago. Why buy an ordinary bike when you can buy this elegant classic tourist cycle. Outstanding!

Her name is ariel...she has legs (wheels) for days (27 1-1/4) light aluminum rims. The rim wheel is new. Tires only have ridden about 100 miles. She is tall (62cm frame) and strong (steel lugged) small diameter tubing. Forks have some chrome...but just the tip. Aluminum drop bars and week old bar tape to get a good grip on things. 12 speed so if you wanna go fast or slow, its up to you your on top in control. Her bottom bracket is nice and clean and well lubed. Down tube shifters work like a charm. Original saddle with a small cut but still rides comfortable. Text me with an offer. No low balls. Almost vintage but was intrigued by the bike - the rear brake adjuster jammed up against the housing braze on, the backwards seat post and I'm thinking those headtube reinforcement rings are not factory.
