So, should I call him up to tell him he's an idiot? That's the only way he leaves people to respond. That looks like the smallest frame Trek makes, and he's saying 5'11" to 6'2".,,,,BD

How can you be firm but accepting serious offers?
Go ahead, make an offer:

Lightly used 1971 Raleigh Super Course Bike, excellent condition.
One owner, lightly used, all parts are original. A very functional bike that is great for antique collectors.

Serious offers only, $1500 is a firm price.

I'm guessing he'd be willing to entertain serious offers above $1500.

No, you shouldn't. He's got a photo of the 20" decal. If you look at this bike (7000 series) or its ancestors (700 series) or descendants (7 FX series) you will see that they follow mountain bike sizing. The smallest size is usually 15", and it puts the top tube and the seat stays nearly in a line.

15" like so: Exlnt Con: Trek 7.1FX 15"

Next size 17.5" and the line of the top tube still crosses the rear wheel: Trek FX 7.4

Well I am 6 foot one, and have worked on many of those bikes. The top of the seat tube is nearly level with the top of a fat 700 tirw. That size doesn't fit me unless I am going to be in a triathlon or mountain bike race position.,,,,BD

Shifts perfectly. (You'll have to trust me on that.)

Peugeot frame - $20 (northwest)

I have here a XL Peugeot frame. It was given to me by a friend. I was going to fix it up but I never found the time to. The gears **** perfect. The rear break needs adjustment and the front brake is fine. Its a bit rusty and has a couple of scratches but other than that its in decent condition. Call text or email for more info

I'm thinking about doing something like this for a MTB drop bar conversion.

At least he's honest about it.Road Bike

Road Bike

First, this is NOT a Cannondale bike. The frame was too white for me, so added the decals. Frame is from Nashbar, 52 CM frame. Has Shimano 105 derailer. Great bike, finally got a new one. 250 or best offer. Has a couple scratches/dings but in good shape.

Shifters work, brakes work however it needs brake lines. Needs a seat. Back rim and tire work fine I just don't feel like putting it on. I have the seat post for it I just forgot to take a picture of it. Comes with cargo rack and water bottle holder so you're stoked on that atleast. Bike is a specialized hard rock. Don't ask for more pictures I probably don't feel like it. Yes ofcourse it has rust, BBQ most likly not included (depends on offer) Make me an offer and come pick it up

Saw this bike on the Santa Ana river trail today.
99% sure it was it.

Wonder if the guy bought the grill too

Too tall for me as a rider. Too much work to flip in my less-than-ideal market. Many reasons to not go that route.

Good question. I was thinking about buying it, $10-$15 bucks tops. Old mountain bikes with street tires go quick this time of year.

$250 for stem shifters, a swagged crank and poorly set up bike? Never mind the rust, the lack of details, the missing straps, and the keyword abuse.

Flipping's underbelly. I hate people like this.

Vintage Lotus Challenger Reconditioned

Lotus Challenger is light blue metallic. Paint in good vintage condition, but for scuff on right side of top tube, no dents. 1980's Vintage Tange chromoly butted steel frame, 58cm seat tube for riders from about 5'9" to 6'1". This bike has been reconditioned and new parts include the following: tires, stainless steel cables, housing, brake pads, wheel and bottom bracket bearings. Alloy rims and crankset.

Available to show in Ann Arbor on Wednesday afternoons, Grosse Pointe the balance of the week. Cash only please. Include your zip code too in your email response.

I hear ya', no flip potential in my market either and if it's not your size........... BUT it's my size and for $20 it could hang on the wall for a long time until the right donor bike came along. Just as well it isn't close, I have too many waiting to get built now.

I need a bike I can lock up and leave for a while without caring about it getting stolen.
especially in Santa ana

Street tires and rack add so much value

Cargo Bike

Granted I have no idae how much cargo bikes go for, but $2000 seems pretty steep to me. And if you're going to ask that much money for anything, at least take semi decent pictures.

Stolen bicycle equipment

Posting this one because I feel for the guy/gal. Looks like he was out on a tour or bikepacking trip and got robbed while trying to resupply.

Kabuki racing bike - free delivery

I LOVE the green on this bike! It is really light weight too. It is made in Japan with super high quality steel. These bikes aren't really around anymore because of expensive tariffs. Hipsters love this bike because it has long tongs in the back, so that it is easy to turn into a fixie. The handle bars are really light and cool too. All you need for this bike is wheels and a seat.
It comes with everything but wheels. Just the hand bars and horn holder...cost like $150.
When lift the bike, you will understand why it costs 450. Don't waste like $900 buying some new piece of crap fixie that is made with cheap materials. Buy something top of the line. Real hipsters would buy this bike. Real hipsters with bike knowledge want this bike.
