I figured I'll share a story.
So one day there was two old bicycles posted local here. I offered the dude 250$ for both. one was an old rod brake raleigh. other was a spaceliner middle weight ballooner but lowest end ever made and rusty and so on. so he said no. I bought the raleigh alone for an okay price.
So after that a month or so after the spaceliner is still for sale. I offer 50$ dude says no and wont budge. I know 50$ is being nice. he said he had a few people comming for it for 75$ or something. so i'm like your loss, and ohh it's reposted for 50$ today. so I email and say should of sold it to me for 50$ it would of been gone already. I get a very rude response back
Where do these bikes come from? the garbage. he just picks them up then sells them for silly high prices like found.
I don't see why people have to be so greedy.

In New York, we use the word chutzpah to refer to the nerve it takes to sell a bent frame as if it's undamaged. But apparently, that shyster found a sucker, as the bike sold.

with the picture i saw. I will be making the payment via check, so i
will need your full name that will be on the check and your full
address with your phone # where you can easily receive the package via
courier and i will arrange for the pickup myself.
NOTE ....And also the payment i will be sending will be in excess
inwhich you will give to the cargo company when they contact you for
the pickup.All you need to do is to faithfully deduct your own money
as soon as you have the cash athand and send the remaining to the
cargo company through MoneyGramm International or Westernunion money
transfer for them to come for the pickup.please get back to me if you
are okay with this and i will implore you to remove the ads off
craigslist because i really want to purchase this asap

the bike has been sold for cash to a person who came to my house.
DO NOT WORRY
If you send me $500 in cash I will send you a very nice picture of the bike
so you may sleep with it each night and think of what you did not buy.
