I like the creativity, a sort of resto-mod, but that front fork looks like it needs to drop about 1.5".

It uses a 1.5" tire on the rear, and a 29er 2.3" tire on the front. Undoubtedly a 29er fork too.

He hasn't installed either backpedal brakes, or rim or disc brakes on the rear

This has got to be the most overpriced "seriously" priced (i.e. not a joke price trying to catch a sucker such as a generic Bianchi listed for $5000 STEAL!!) bike I have ever seen listed in Toronto, and that says a lot. I know it's real asking price because this guy has listed other "high end" bikes for sale in the past.

1982 Daccordi Turbo | road | Kitchener / Waterloo | Kijiji

Just embarrassing.

He did say you get a chrome fork and a bottom bracket with it.

Now the fact that HE'S never seen one in Canada, just make it that rare and valuable.

Sure enough - was just looking at the pics. Hmm, I've got a 1963 penny I've never seen before, do you think it's work a thousand?

Mens coyote fur for road bicycle
Mens coyote fur for road bicycle (Carpentersville) < >

I'm looking to trade my 3/4 length men's coyote fur for a high quality road bicycle, stumpjumper, or like full suspension bike. Paid over $3000.00 for the coat and has been appraised for $9000.00. Truly beautiful and elegant piece of outerwear and super warm and comfortable! It's only been worn 3 times. I'm looking to trade for a Cannondale, Specialized, trek, or other high end bicycle since I ride 10 miles one way to work and I need good transport. No junk that's been in your garage or basement for 10 years. Serious inquires only! I look forward to hearing from you.

May take partial trade and cash depending on what you have.

Wow, sounds like I should get into the coyote-coat-making business. Free raw materials all over the place around here...

Just in time for hunting season.

Now how many hunters will mistake your drop bars for a nice rack.
And with all that fur, it will surely look like a really fast moving deer.

^Bottom of the barrel but I love the colour, the graphics and the high flange hubs. But that's a $50 fixer-upper at best.

And what kind of person whose name isn't Burt Reynolds buys a $3000 coyote coat?

I love vintage Puch and Austro Daimler bikes, but $1700 for an inter10? Wow, I guess I should've sold my Luzern for $3500. (Austro Daimler Inter 10 Reynolds 531 | eBay).

No that was USD. Checking the link now, it says LOT SOLD 250,000 HKD (and you can toggle on USD to see $32,235)

Good to know it's not just my local area with crazy inflated bike prices.

WAY too many bike flippers around here that artificially jack up costs.

I was thinking that some of the bikes may be drifting down to a "reasonable" value around here.

Well, until I found this one.

Great 80's/90's style 7 speed bike 400 OBO - $400

I bought this bike from simply cycle used but revamped with all new parts about 6 months ago for 480 to get to work and ride around town.
Im short on cash so I have to sell my cool bike... It comes with kryptonite bike lock.
$400 OBO
I'm guessing the "OBO" will be disappointing to the seller.

I may have to check out Simply Cycle, but no matter how well "restored" an old MTB is, it is still an old MTB.
