It looks like it is about a $255 trainer. And, no worn out tires... in theory.

BikeWagon - Minoura RDA-2429-R Mag Trainer with Remote

And, you miss the extra charges for Canadian Shipping.

I guess I'd rather just ride my bike on the road.

May have meant "reduces" instead of "produces." Autocorrect?

$1K for an old Raleigh? Guess I better get used to seeing this picture on Houston CL for the next 18 months. Right next to the De Rosa that the guy can't seem to give away.

I'd love a Super Course, but this one is a bit too tall for me and just a little out of my price range.

Ahhh, that makes more sense.

I was thinking of rider feedback....
Kind of like kids who like to make motorcycle sounds with their bikes.

It's nowhere near anyone's price range, for what it is. It's a decent British bike made of butted 531, not a Colnago or DeRosa. It should be around $300 or less. Since he has ridden it with the old dried up grease, there's no telling if it needs new hubs and bottom bracket. It's a shame honestly.,,,,BD

You will have to explain why, besides the potato-cam pick, this ad qualifies as 'wacky'? The 'made in Germany' claim? The missing fender stays? I don't get it.

Um cause Panasonic DX2000 is an entry level road bike with drop bars, not a 3 speed hub ladies cruiser.

Or are you pulling my leg?

[h=2]Bike bed frame - $1000 (Minneapolis, MN)[/h]Bike bed frame

Bike bed frame, hand crafted, sturdy solid welds, not the prettiest welds though, queen size, can be taken apart just like any bed frame, so easy to move. $1,000 or best offer, open to trades as well.

Cute design. A bit expensive.

Next time I run across an old Schwinn that I don't know what to do with, I may end up sleeping on it

It's a clever idea, but I'm not sure I'd want a sharp-toothed chainring sticking up near where I get naked on occasion

I'm pasting the ad for posterity's sake. I wouldn't want this guy to have my phone number. I also wouldn't want to get within a five block radius of him while carrying $400 in cash.

The bike itself looks decent, it's just fallen into the wrong hands. $200-$250 and I think it would sell pretty quickly.

"whose bike is in excellent condition I want to get $400 for it the lightweight bicycle rare and hard to find its a peogeot authentic and nice condition well taken care of leave your phone number if you're serious I want to get $400 cash only. don't offer me less cuz I don't really want to sell it so if you have $400 I'll sell it to you. leave your phone number and I'll call you the frame size is 23 and a half inches approx no I didn't measure it but that's the size I think don't ask me for things like more pictures and close ups of this or that I don't have time for that that's a picture to show you the bike and if you're interested send me a text message maybe I can text you some pictures so leave your phone number"

I gather an Urago could be valuable but it's going to take better pictures and some info on components before I get my $2500 out.

Is the suspension seatpost and cushy seat extra?

Nothing about that bike screams high-end. I'd like to see the rear derailleur, but 27" wheels were generally not racing wheels. And, as others have mentioned elsewhere, the rear dropout eyelets are generally on lower quality bikes.

Only serious offers please.
Hmmm... $200?

Vintage Peugeot Mens Bicycle - $1000 (Fayetteville)

80's model, bike is in great condition, has headlight and taillight, needs new tires, will include with purchase a pair of saddle bags, new kryptonite lock and vehicle rack for transport.

She wants $1000 for a Peugeot in need of tires that she couldn't even take the time to get a clear driveside picture of.

Do these people spell phonetically? I'm shocked, absolutely shocked, that they got "Colnago" and "Italian" right.

I'd bet good money that she is selling off her ex's stuff from the storage unit. If it were hers, she would probably have used the term "pannier" and have known to photograph from the drive side.

Well, it does say COLNAGO on the frame... at least it should if it is the genuine article, and not some Japanese knockoff.

I suppose it should also say Campagnolo on most of the parts.

PICTURES WOULD BE NICE. Or, at least an e-mail address so they could be mailed.

There may be a problem that many programs spell check the body text, but not the titles.

But, if the bike doesn't sell in the first hour or two, then the search function is vital, and it requires good spelling.

True fact: sellers are more likely to buy if you use the word "that".
