1991 Gary Fisher Procaliber Mountain Bicycle

On sale! 75% off! Last one in stock!

Either the person selling it is clueless about the bike and thought they could sell it at $4000 after seeing the 2nd ad or they don't want to sell it and if by some miracle actually sell it than it a huge profit. The 6 non-driveside photos lead me to believe it is the former. Or I guess a typo, though I thing even $400 is a bit high. Nice bike though.
Yep, that's exactly what happened I bet - the seller saw that site and thinks he has a $4K mtb. The 'very rare and collectable' part of the descripttion indicates this strongly. Boy is he in for a disappointing reality check soon, lol.

The disappointing thing would be for the people who pay top-dollar for the bike hoping to flip it at a profit, only to be disappointed.

Of course, there are a few bikes like the Orange Crates that have some odd collector's value.

I had forgotten all about Budget Bicycle center... that place is a trip. I'm guessing they're to blame for this guy's opinion of his Raleigh Capri: Raleigh bicycle

That thing's been up there for almost two years. Started out around $500, if memory serves.

Poor fool refuses to believe this is a 1999ish bike. I gave all kinds of evidence in my second email, but they probably won't believe that either.,,,,BD

You too could have this ultra-rare Vintage Schwinn Peugeot 103 worth up to $2,000 in today's market. (I'd love to have that tail light on the rear fender, TBH)

Now, one might say there are some Schwinn Raleighs or Raleigh Schwinns. Or, whatever you would call those Nottingham built Schwinn 3-Speeds.

I hope this bike pops up in like a week, all cleaned up, better backdrop and lighting, better angles, etc. for $6000.

I guess spray-painting everything except the downtube logo, stem and wheels adds $400+ in value. Why didn't I think of that?

$500 for a low-end Peugeot with everything but the wheels and stem spray-painted obnoxious blue.

Attention bike sleuths! This guy is offering a reward for anyone who can help recover his bike that was stolen two and a half years ago! Hey, maybe he'll get lucky and someone out there will recognize it from the single crummy cell phone photo of a computer screen showing a pixelated jpeg stock image. It should be easy without being distracted by any unnecessary info like the serial number, frame size, or any unique or distinguishing features...right?

Chainless Bicycle - $500 (Hempstead)

It does, however, come with a seat that looks like it was inspired by a Yak. That has to be worth something.

7 speed IGH,
If the bike was fully tuned in excellent condition, it might be worth a few hundred.

In the current presentation, a heck of a lot less.

I don't know what a fair price would be for that, but it looks like a pretty sweet bike. Not like any other electro-forged-gas-pipe, one-pieced-cranked, American-made Schwinn POS I have seen.

That's probably a $200-$300 bike.
