I've been through Rustburg and can confirm that it's a little crossroads town, and I actually know people who live there. Lynchburg, on the other hand, has always struck me as a place that lives in the shadow of its local Liberty University and seems to have that vibe.

I posted a Trek frameset in this thread a few weeks ago that was also located in Rustburg.

"Never play cards with a man called Doc. Never eat at a place called Mom's. Never sleep with a woman whose troubles are worse than your own." Nelson Algren

Might I suggest appending: "Never buy "red" MTBs in a place called "Rustburg""?

(Especially when listed on the "Lynchburg" CL.)

Walk on the wild side if you want, but do not ride through Rustburg; who knows what your bike might catch?

WTT - Your bike for my waterpipe - $700 (UR)

"I have a brand new, never been used, still has the tag on it SYN shower-head water pipe from Island Dyes. It was $700.

I need a nice bicycle (nice: think GT, Trek, Scott, Gary Fisher). Men's. Not a road bike; prefer a mountain bike or hybrid. Hard tail if possible but we'll see.

Thanks."

A unique little cargo bike here.
Note the position of the 3-speed shifter. Front brake only (plus probably coaster brake). Thus no cables running front to back.

Breaks in half Sears & Roebuck Tote-Cycle 3 speed Very good condit (Salem) $250

Bit disappointed that wasn't posted in a Colorado CL listing. I wonder a) how high do you have to be to shell out $700 for a waterpipe and b) how high to trade a bike for one? To be fair I guess some people would raise similar questions of me and my hobbies...

I like how "never refurbished" is supposed to be a selling point at $2400. I've also noticed when people have his & her bikes, they think they can charge a lot more no matter the quality.

When I was a kid, my mother had an Italian folding bike with that feature (shifter under the saddle). It makes sense for a folding bike.

Does The Saddle Come With It?

Raleigh Bike with tire pump and light - $1 (Concord)

(Note the possibly inadvertent subliminal message directly above the lamp, and in front of the handlebar, in the following photo. Or perhaps it's intentionally ironic? You know, like manbuns?)

Spotlightlighting the lamp might not have been the most brilliant marketing idea either.
(I'm sure it'll shine right up.)

"Men's Raleigh bike direct from England. Has factory headlight that has never been used including paperwork enclosed, tire pump and sweet English styling. Leather seat has seen better days. Asking $450.00. Call or text Doug @ 980-six22-3684"

(But does the kickstand work?)
