Nope. And check out the seat post. In the photo I linked to, it looks like it's been crimped to fit in the seat tube. Could be an optical illusion, but given the rest of the bike, I suspect not.

BTW, I sent an email to the guy with the hybrid with his fork on backwards. He responded with a genuine thanks.

If you inspect the fob you see the dealership info.
Conclusion: They don't want you to buy a bike, they want you to buy a car

I don't know about wacky, but interesting at least...

30 chopped in half carbon fiber bike frames
I was going to originally repair them and crush them for my masters thesis, but I got accepted into computer engineering instead. My lose your gain. I bought the bikes at auction. Don't know where they came from. All of the bikes are chopped in half. I have no idea how I'm going to ship them. If you really are interested I can working something out with shipping. I'm also willing to sell them out one at a time for 30 dollars + shipping what ever that will be. Please shoot all offer ideas my way. I know they are valuable, especially to test engineers. No other parts where attached to the frames. only the frames are being sold. i was told by a friend that the bikes could even be chemically melted down for their fabric. I gave two bikes the other day to the robotics club. They where elated that I was able to help them save so much weight on their first robotics competition robot. I have a 200 page text book on carbon fiber repairs, and destructive testing.

the story: bike was once in Miami Dade county where the owner registered it with the police, then it came to Huntsville where someone used it for target practice (its in the town name)- then this guy finds it in a ditch and decides he might be able to get $100 but he would settle for a case of Old Milwaukee

I'm afraid that the damage is well beyond my modest ability to return it to a reasonable condition.

Bah, it's a MTB and it's the top tube, it'll be fine.

Servicing the oxidized and rusted brakes, now there is a challenge
