Thanks. At least I'm not the only one who thinks it's wacky.

I see 2 Schwinns, a Genesis, a tire, a TV, and a giraffe. No Specialized. No Trek. Unless Trek makes a giraffe?

At least they say it's a "schwin".
Though it may not even be lol.

I don't even bother with ads like these anymore. I know some here get good bikes sometimes from looking into such ads though.

I mostly thought it was funny that they couldn't even type "bike" in the title without a major typo. You're right, though; lots of Craigslist ads out there written with even less effort.

Surf's Up?

Surf Tricycle - $250 (Carolina Beach)

"Tricycle designed for surfing. You can put your surfboard on top and ride to the beach."

https://wilmington.craigslist.org/bi...437320512.html

(If you need a tricycle to get your board to the beach, perhaps you shouldn't be surfing? How does the tricycle surf? How does the board balance on the pvc pillar? <disclaimer: It's the holidaze; I'm trying...>)

Even with the seat all the way down like that, I don't see how this could work. Maybe the rake has something to do with it.

Yeah I hear you. It's hard to believe someone would ruin a beautiful classic frame like that with that horrid 'repair' job. I was surprised they hadnt cut off the rear derailleur hanger, too.
