Sometimes it depends on the device one is using at the time. For what it's worth, I never noticed the free bike in the listing. Alas, when I arrived, the girl pictured on the bike in the listing was not the same girl offering the free bike. Instead the person appeared to have been hit repeatedly with 10-foot poles. I immediately complained to Craigslist leadership!

Oh, those East Coasters, and Mid Westerners. They can't even pronounce "Oregon" properly. How would you expect them to know how to spell the Pacific Ocean?

I like how the ad states "You would need to be at least 6 ft. tall or taller to safely ride this bike."

I'm not sure where the cutoff is, but I'd put it at least 6'6".

And, why this is an absolutely horrible idea.

Unless you take the time to remove the clip + strap every time you go to clipless, the clip will hang down, scuff, and be a problem, or even a danger on corners.

Many residents of northern Illinois can pronounce Oregon since a town by that name is the county seat of Ogle County.

There is an Oregon Wisconsin.

However, the accent is different than in the State of Oregon, with more emphasis on the last syllable.

Everyone I know from Oregon (WI) puts the emphasis/accent on the first syllable, but they "fully" pronounce the "o" in the last syllable. So it's OR-a-gon (the city), rather than "OR-y-gun" (the state).

We also have a New Berlin (pronounced BER-lin), and a Gotham (pronounced with a long "o", like GO-thm)....

(So out in Oregon, do they pronounce the "s" in Illinois?.....)

And, yes, the "S" is silent in the state name. At least I think it is.

I live in Wicomico County, pronounced (why COM iko). Many visitors pronounce it (wikko mikko, same emphasis on both syllables).
I used to work and live in Worcester County, pronounced (WUS ter). Many visitors pronouce it as (wor CHESS ter) or (wor CESS ter).

I used to work and live in Wooster, OH, pronounced (WUS ter). Many visitors pronounce it (WOO ster). The locals would say "It's 'Wuh-ster', where the cows don't say Moo, they say Muh"

And I used to work in live in the UK, where I remember the plethora of -cester towns with names that got severely clipped. My favorite was Towcester, pronounced "Toaster". Also the original Worcester (in the shire of Worchestershire, whence the famous sauce), Leicester, etc.

I am 6'2" and it fits me perfectly.

Made and Purchased in 1980 in West Lafayette, IN. Role all over Purdue U campus and on treks from campus until I graduated in 1984. Since then its been stored in my several garages.

I say "good" because I believe everything is fully functional but everything needs cleaning and adjusting, something I have meant to do for years but I finally realize I won't have such time until I retire.
