You might think it's overpriced, but it's a one of a kind off road grand touring bicycle. What uncouth lout would even want more photos and details?

This sculpture exhibits a lot of mistakes people make when drawing bicycles, but in glorious 3D! Dive train on the wrong side! Zero-length stem. All that and it's bizarrely expensive!

This handcrafted bike is awesome! Would love to keep it but it deserves a home where it will be seen by more than 2 people. The bike is made of vintage farm items. It is 60" to the seat, 72" to the handle bars, 10' wheel to wheel. Handle bar turns the front wheel, wheels and pedals do not turn. See building for size reference.

As the saying goes, "I may not know art, but I know what I like". Or in this case, don't like. Bleah.

He used calipers to determine that crack is only 40% the thickness of the entire tire at that point

(Did his parents use a "60% of life left" condom?)

(Did I just say that out loud?)

I don't know, I can't hear you from here. But you did type it into the internets.

Is that from an ad, or a tire you bought?

It might be OK on a trainer indoors. :foo: Not that I'd put that on a $1000 carbon wheel set.

Ignoring the cracking, looking at the top of the tire, I can see quite a hogged-out section where there has been significant center of the tread wear.

But, it can be difficult to judge center of tread wear, although sometimes it can be visualized through glass nicks and other scarring near the center of the tread.

A cleverly re-badged Trek 820. Includes a lighter and a one hitter where a star nut usually goes.

Edit: Seems to be a 920

This has been reposted A LOT on the local CL, for well over a year. There have even been 'rebuttal' ads telling the guy he's nuts.
Soooo freakin' tired of seeing it. Please flag it!

The only "NORCO"s we have around here seem to be selling for $10...

madpogue 06-18-19 09:35 AM

Poor fella might have actually been bent over for close to $600 for that BSO. Doesn't make it worth anywhere near that much to the next guy, but if he's truthful about his condition, it sounds like someone upstream took big-time advantage of him.

A CD/DVD owner's manual for a product not related to computers? :foo:

"Bike has not been rode no more than 1/4 mile."

Let's see...if the bike has not been rode no more than 1/4 mile does that mean it has been rode for more than 1/4 mile?

Antique bikes for sale! - $1000 (Kingsport)

I have two antique bicycles for sale. One is in amazing condition and it's a '67 Schwinn Breeze Deluxe it is a complete surviving original! It has the original Schwinn tires and they hold air! This bike is rideable and I have ridden I'd numerous times since I acquired it in 2014. The other is a '59 16" Texas Ranger! This bicycle is in fair condition for it's age but wheels are a little roached in one area on both from sitting in one spot for 40 years in the barn it came out of the tires also hold air on this bike and it has been ridden one time by my girlfriends 8 year old daughter but just hangs around now. This bike is very rare and I would be surprised to find another one because I have tried! Will sell both as package or separate!

Excellent shape, but the buyer will have to figure out the shift cable mess.

I do have to say that the picture is one of the best upside-down bike pics I've seen in an ad. Points subtracted for NDS angle.
