This has to be stolen

That's it. That's the ad

Did anyone have their Lemond stolen? Pictures are - drive side only, doesn't mention brand, model, year, components. I think someone who picked out this bike would know...

I have always wondered why some will spend so much time and effort producing a very ugly product. I expect that they had great plans but tired of the project halfway in.

A highly creative bunch. I greatly respect the ratbike community. They don't march to the same drummer as many of us do. Many of them have as much of a feeling of triumph and satisfaction of finding a junk Huffy in a ditch as someone else in here may in finding an NOS Raleigh Professional in an attic.

That's why I cross-posted to Alt Bikes too. The entire idea of this creation is... unreasonable, to me. I don't doubt that it reflects passion though, and while it's a wacky craigslist ad for a bike, it might get $700 from the right connoisseur.

Yeah, I have seen a number of these creations that were interesting if not beautiful, and I do understand passion to create. This one however; is downright amateurish, devoid of even mediocre workmanship. I wonder what it sounds like rolling down the road.

Hot!

(Now we're cookin'? Looks like a good range of gears? Just needs a good degreasing? Easy to get dialed in? People list this gaspipe crap? Mmmhmmmph.)

You can clean the chain with Easy-Off oven cleaner.
